Japan – Tokyo
The second Hugo & Victor coffee/shop concept is within the prestigious shopping center of Takashimaya in the residential district of Futakotamagawa in Tokyo. Surrounded by luxurious brands such as Ralph Lauren and Chanel, the new shop is installed on the intersection of an important crossing point.
On two facades, large windows offer a perfect visibility of the shop interior.
Inside the shop concept, the glass partitions, the « touches » of copper, and the lights remind the Parisian work factory. In the centre, sofa and armchairs with rounded and soft forms invite the clients to taste the last creations made by Huges Pouget, pastry chef and founder of Hugo & Victor, in a warm and cozy atmosphere. The product names are copper engraved on several marble furniture and appeal then invite passersby.
The bar, the showcases and the counters are either draped by white marble or coated by a dark oak. This black / white contrast is repeated through the floor tiles.
This second shop Hugo & Victor is a continuation of the first coffee shop concept in Omotesando Hills and confirms the brand’s presence in the Japanese capital.
