MAROCCO – Private villa

In the middle of flawless gardens, fountains and pools among turquoise sea waters, this villa concentrates luxury and voluptuousness. As desired by the client, the architecture is resolutely oriental and contrasts with chic and contemporary interiors.
It’s through a large and luminous canopy that we walk in the main entrance. The floor in marble and the zelliges, the opened architecture and the white arches recall invariably large oriental palaces. The main reception room erases the rupture between the interior and the exterior in order for them to be a single living area. Each room offers a view on a landscape oscillating between palm trees and the blue background of the sea.
The maroccan lanterns rich of cut arabesque and colored hand blown glass, filter the night lights when this white universe is colored into a bluish setting. The bedrooms, bathrooms and dressings, made of soft and powdered atmospheres, combine sculpted gypsum walls with oriental influences and silk carpets. Furniture and objects, contemporary and traditional, are harmoniously mixed in each living area.
In these sober and whimsical spaces, architectures and decorations respond to each other in a perfectly balanced way. Like epheremal marks on the sand, the floral decors, palm-leaves, almonds and cobs write on the walls verses of a poem. The local craft, mosaics and colored limes rival with precious woods, leather and crystal inserts.
In this subtle balance tradition and modernity mingle harmoniously.
